Profile name Description

Gaussian blur kernel Odd values from 1–21. Higher values smooth more image noise but can merge nearby features. Minimum contour area (px²) Contours below this pixel area are discarded as noise. Suggested starting range: 20–200. Minimum droplet diameter (mm) Smaller blobs remain satellites and cannot become the primary droplet. Suggested: 0.05–0.20 mm. Whole-frame guard ratio Rejects segmentation covering this fraction of the frame. Suggested: 0.80–0.95. Dilation iterations Expands detected regions and may join nearby deposits. Normally 0–2. Erosion iterations Shrinks detected regions and removes small connections. Normally 0–2.
